Take the Physical Journey

Greta Beasley’s love for sports began as a small child from her elementary school P.E teacher’s instructions on how to run properly to her family’s weekly softball games. She then went on to play basketball her entire high school career. While playing, she then learned the values of a great leader as she gained the name of “Chief”. When she went off to college she then played many intramural sports such as flag football, basketball, softball, aerobics and running.
She was awarded an athletic scholarship from Atlanta Metropolitan College, where she studied sports medicine for two and half years. While there she was head student trainer over the Panthers basketball team and was a member of the Morris Brown college sports medicine team. She graduated with an Associates of Science and Biology.
After her graduation, she went on to finish her four year degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from Georgia Southern University. She gained more knowledge of the effects of exercise and movements on the body. And during her internship she applied her knowledge to the members of UPS athletic club, where she trained them and performed fitness testing on them. There she gained her philosophy of “Fitness is a Journey, not a Destination”, because ones body goes through many things as it is being prepared to be healthy and fit for life. She went on to gain her certifications in group fitness and advanced personal training. She now teaches Kick boxing, boot camp, circuit training, boost & burn, and body sculpting. Beasley implements various dynamic moves into her classes that keep them fresh and interesting for her clients and class members.
Beasley challenges her clients and her classes to stretch themselves to make goals set. Her commitment to maintaining the journey is revealed in every class, every private fitness session, and every fitness seminar.
